The May Edition 2026

Welcome to May Journal edition, I’m so happy it found you. May is one of my favourite months with warm days, lots of sunshine, golden hours, and late evening walks. I don’t know what it is, but I feel as though I fall in love with it more every year. I hope you feel the same and that the words I share in this edition find you when you need them most and connect with your heart. I hope you know how grateful I am that you are here.

Three Learnings

1

A sensitive heart is as full of love as it is bound to experience pain. It will feel sorrow the more it leans into joy. It will confront fear in the same way it finds courage. It will grieve and expand in gratitude, move through excitement and anxiety, and learn to hold both desire and loss. It is a soft heart, one that feels deeply every emotion, every sensation, and every experience there is. No heart can choose what it feels, but a big heart is one that feels it all. Your heart exists to let you live and love in every possible dimension. There is nothing else it is here for.

2

The right person is the person you decide to be right for you. The right path is the path you are on, irrespective of challenges, changes in direction, or unexpected detours. The right decision does not always feel right immediately, but what makes it right is that it is made with your heart. What can make it right is alignment with your values and vision. Sometimes, what makes something right or wrong is timing. More than anything, what is right if not what you choose to believe is right? What is right if not what you make right?

3

Nothing is something you choose only one time. You don’t feel happy and hold onto it forever, but you learn to find your way back to it. You don’t love someone once and never have to choose them again. You have to choose your people as they change, as they grow, and as they become new versions of themselves, just as you do. You might think the breaking was the turning point, that you have made it to the other side, and yet you are bound to be challenged, to fall and struggle again. You may believe you have healed, to find yourself being shown a mirror through patterns, cycles, or your relationships, reminding you that there is still more to understand, feel, and heal. Everything moves in cycles. And the more you live, the more you come to know yourself, others, and life.

Two Intentions

In the coming month I will...

1

make space for joy and lightness. I want to allow my thoughts and feelings to change, letting them come and go with grace. I will remember that everything is temporary, while giving what wants to stay the permission to remain. I will let myself feel happiness, fully and without holding back, remembering that I deserve it.

2

spend less time on social media and invest more time in what connects me to myself. In nature, which grounds me and reminds me of the beauty in slowing down. In movement and breath, where my body feels at home. In the presence of family and friends, who remind me that love is the most beautiful thing of all.

One Highlight

1

May has been a beautiful and challenging month overall. Some of my highlights included having my sister visit from Hamburg (I missed you so much) and spending quality time with my family. I also really enjoyed long walks and deep conversations with friends that made me feel deeply connected to them and myself. Amidst so much change and new opportunities, I feel grateful for the way I have been able to grow through it all, and for everything I have learned about myself, others, and life. June, I can’t wait for you.
