The June Edition 2025

Hello, and welcome to the June edition, maybe one of my favourites. I really love June and am truly grateful for the warmer days, endless sunshine, and the feeling of lightness that comes with it. I’m excited to share my thoughts, reflections, and everything I’ve been inspired by lately.

Three Learnings

1

The mind has power. Thoughts become chains of thoughts, and before you know it, they evolve into beliefs, patterns, and behaviours. It all begins with the thoughts you think. How you think determines what you believe and how you perceive. And so to change your life, you need to begin with your thoughts. Exchanging one thought with another until challenges become opportunities, mistakes become lessons, heartbreak becomes healing and fear becomes courage. Shifting your thoughts can unlock so much potential within you. When you question, when you rethink and reframe, you step into your power. You choose to grow. You become a new you.

2

There are people out there like you. You just need to find them. You need to go out, meet new people, show up as yourself and give others a chance. Connections don’t occur instantly and take time to develop. And they require you to put yourself out there. To talk to people, to be vulnerable and be curious. Even when it feels uncomfortable or discouraging, there is no reason to give up. Not every interaction will lead to a deep connection, and that’s okay. You need to take the pressure out of it and trust that the right people will come into your life at the right time. Because there are people with the same values. There are people who have similar interests. Your people do exist. And the truth is, they are longing to find someone like you too.

3

Your body deserves gratitude. Be grateful for everything it is and does. For the way it carries you through every day, it holds you when you’re falling, and it lets you experience the beauty of being human. Rather than focusing on what it isn’t or what it can’t do, you need to appreciate it as a whole. Because it is not to be taken for granted. The value of health is unbelievable. How your heart beats, how your lungs breathe, the way your eyes see everything around you and your brain processes information. It is incredible how your senses connect you with the world and how it all happens without you consciously taking control. And yet, each movement, each sensation, and each function is not to be taken for granted—it is a gift. Your body’s ability to ground you is perhaps the greatest gift of all.

Two Intentions

In the coming month I will...

1

surrender, embracing more softness and flow. Letting go of hardness, rigidity, and routines, I will breathe into the empty spaces, lean into the in-betweens and let the natural unfolding of life guide me where I belong.

2

believe in myself more. Trust myself more. Be more confident. I will remember that I am capable and that when I believe in myself, I can step into my potential and anything becomes possible.

One Highlight

1

June has been SO good (and very busy) with many highlights. It began with travels to Greece with my family, where I really soaked up every moment with them. We spent the days out in nature at the ocean, went for walks, had deep conversations, laughed, and enjoyed late night dinners together while watching the sunset. Coming home, I had the best time at the Tate McRae concert with my sister and my birthday was so special this year. Towards the end of the month, we celebrated Lamor Studio’s big opening, I taught my first class at Kale & Cake, and was part of a wonderful running event with the lululemon community. My heart is full, and I’m ready for all the goodness July will bring.
